Party The person(s) and any dogs accompanying the client.
Owners The owners of the Property, K & W Davidson.
Property The Gite, and associated buildings, gardens and parking areas.
- The Client is required to complete and send the booking, either by post, fax or email to the Owners, and pay a non refundable 25% deposit of the total rent. A confirmation of the reservation shall be sent back to the client by the Owners on receipt of the deposit, thereby formally accepting the reservation.
- The number of people shown on the booking form shall be the number of people accepted, if there is a change in the number people with in the party the Client shall inform the Owner immediately.
- The Client shall pay the balance of the rent and the damage deposit six weeks prior to the start of the rental period. Should the client fail to pay in full, the Owners reserve the right to inform the Client in writing the reservation is cancelled.
- In the event of cancellation prior to six weeks before the start of the rental period the deposit shall be forfeited. In the event of cancellation within the six week period, the full amount shall be forfeited, unless the owners manage to re let the property for the same period, in which case the full amount minus the deposit shall be refunded.
- The client is advised to ensure that they have travel insurance which should include cover for belongings, cancellation and public liability. The Owners cannot accept liability for loss of personal property.
- To insure against damage to the property or its contents by the Client, a damage deposit of ninety pounds sterling or one hundred and fifty Euros's will be required. The damage deposit will be refunded on completion of the reservation period provided the Owners are satisfied there is no damage to the Property or its contents.
- The property may be occupied after 14:00 on the first day of the rental period and must be vacated by 10:00 on the last day.
- The Client shall take good care of the Property, furniture, fixtures and fittings, making good where possible any breakages or damage. All defects during the rental period must be communicated to the Owners immediately. The Client is expected to leave the Property in the same condition is was found. The Owners reserve the right to withhold the damage deposit if the Property is not left in a satisfactory condition.
- There is a no smoking policy within any building, at all times.
- The Client and the Party shall agree to conduct them selves in a manner not to cause disturbance to any other residents. The Client is fully responsible for the conduct of any children or pets in the party.
- The Owner's liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental, not including the damage deposit.
- The Owner shall not be held responsible to the Client for
b. Failure of any public utility or service.
c. For any loss to the Client if the Property is destroyed or rendered in a non rental state. The Owners shall refund in full all monies paid within fourteen days in this event.
This Contract shall be governed by English Law in every particular including formation and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this Contract may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England.
